For more than 20 years, DeVido has developed a disciplined, end-to-end approach to helping businesses optimize their marketing. Our roots are in traditional marketing, shaped by a time when strategy, positioning, and messaging were everything. As the internet emerged, we evolved with it, learning not just the tools, but how to apply them in ways that drive real business outcomes. Origins

Founded in 2005 in Arizona as Sociactive, the company began as a side venture by founder Ryan DeVido. It started as a way to explore the early potential of internet marketing while working full time. What began as a small experiment quickly grew as businesses started to recognize the internet as a powerful tool for visibility, efficiency, and revenue growth.

As Texas deregulated electricity in the early 2000s, another opportunity took shape. To help businesses adapt, Wizard Energy Savings was launched to broker commercial electricity contracts and reduce operating costs. At the same time, Sociactive’s marketing consulting matured into a full-time operation under DeVido Marketing, expanding beyond web development, SEO, and design into a more strategic growth-focused role.

Although these ventures served different functions, they were built on the same principle: helping businesses run smarter and grow stronger. Over time, they were unified under the Sociactive umbrella, creating a more complete and integrated service offering.

The vision was clear. Pair operational efficiency with revenue generation. By helping companies lower costs through smarter energy decisions while simultaneously increasing visibility and demand through strategic marketing, Sociactive became more than a vendor. It became a long-term growth partner.
